Christmas is just around the corner, the Elves, Mrs Christmas, and Father Christmas are all busy checking lists (twice), making toys, tending to the reindeer, packing up the sleigh and keeping the festive spirit alive. Father Christmas is taking time out of his busy schedule to come and visit lots of families in Bath; check out the list below to discover where he will be and make your little ones Christmas even more magical!

Santa’s Grotto at Milsom Place

Much more than your usual Grotto, Father Christmas’ Grotto is a fun interactive experience with professional actors in the heart of Bath. A festive destination designed for the family to enjoy and escape from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping. Help the elves wake Father Christmas and hear a story of how they plan to make this year the best Christmas ever. The Father Christmas’ Grotto is at Milsom Place every weekend and selected weekdays.

Santa at Bath City Farm

After three sell out years in Bristol, British comic actor Stewart Wright is excited to bring the Father of Christmas to life in Bath for the first time. Experienced at entertaining all ages with his own brand of improvisation and audience interaction, it’s where theatre meets ‘An audience with’ Father Christmas. He’s reunited once again with the actor and circus artist Ben Kirby as Sven the Reindeer Handler. Guaranteed to bring a sense of fun, laughter, and anticipation to all. There’ll be music, sleigh bells, and bucket loads of Christmas spirit. Please note that this event is outside so make sure you are wrapped up warm
When: Saturday 9th December 4.30pm show & 6pm show

Father Christmas at No.1 Royal Crescent

Back for another year and one that is incredibly popular. No.1 Royal Crescent invite you all to come and meet Father Christmas. The children will be greeted by Christmas helpers and led in to our beautifully decorated Servants Hall where Father Christmas will read them a story. They will have a chance to talk to him, have a photo with him and there is a special post box if your child would like to leave a letter for him. Each child will be given a gift and a Georgian Christmas Cookie recipe card to take home. Usually a sell out evet so book soon
When: 2nd December – 24th December. Timed sessions throughout the day

Farmer Christmas at Newton Farm

He's back! Farmer Christmas will be visiting us again this year as we countdown to the big day! Come and meet him in our Corner Barn, surrounded by fairy lights, on Saturday 16th December and Thursday 21st December. No booking necessary, just turn up and enjoy!
When: 16th December – 21st December

Santa at the Station Somerset & Dorset Railway

Sshh! Don’t tell anyone else, but we’ve just heard that Santa is coming back to the station at Midsomer Norton! Step on board one of the steam hauled locomotives where you will experience a round trip on our railway, hauled by one of our locomotives, working the very steep incline away from the station, before returning to the Midsomer North Pole platform to visit Santa in his grotto, where all children will receive a wrapped gift.
When: 2nd December – 22nd December weekends only

Santa’s North Pole at Fairfield Animal Centre

Our Elves and Santa are busy preparing for your visit! Visit Santa in his North Pole Christmas Grotto. Meet the magical Polar Bears and enjoy a stroll around our beautiful animal park and play on the adventure park equipment. Children get a special Arctic fur animal toy from Santa along with other treats in their gift bag and you can meet some of our animals in our animal petting area.
When: 25th November – 24th December
Where: Fairfield Animal Centre, Southwick Country Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 9QD
Cost: Children £19.95 – This will cover the event and admission to the centre. Adults will need to buy a admission ticket to the centre to join their children.

Santa’s Christmas Wish

Join a fun, festive, musical adventure to give Santa the very best Christmas, then meet him at his home in the North Pole! There every child will receive a special present from Father Christmas in our popular meet, greet and treat, after the most Christmassy Christmas show ever! Songs include festive favourites Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney, The Twelve Days Of Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and many more! Santa’s Christmas Wish is a festive, song-filled, interactive family show particularly suitable for 2-8 year olds. It lasts 45 minutes and is followed by a special meet, greet, and treat with Father Christmas himself!

Santa Special at East Somerset Railway

We are excited to be welcoming Santa again this year - and offering our Santa Special train rides. You will have a 30-minute ride on the Santa Special train first, then cross the line to the North Pole Station where you can visit Santa and receive a gift (if you have been good, of course!). There will be a Goody Bag for every child to take onto the train which will contain colouring sheets, crayons and a family Santa quiz sheet. There will also be a balloon modeller on the train. Refreshments will be served at the North Pole - including mulled wine and mince pies.
