Freshford Village Hall
Freshford Village Memorial Hall sits in the heart of the beautiful village of Freshford, at the southern-most tip of the Cotswolds. Close to the rivers Frome and Avon, and surrounded by fields, woodland, and classic Bath stone buildings, this is an idyllic spot to host your event, wedding, children’s party or weekend Brownie camp. As well as the sizeable main hall, it has two meeting rooms that make it perfectly suited for conferences and training sessions.
It is only ten minutes by car outside Bath, just off the A36, and has a train station making it very accessible. There is parking for 30 cars in the car park and it is next to the community shop and cafe. The Hall also has a fully-equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery for hire. Behind the Hall is the Queen Elizabeth recreation field and children’s playground which can also be used.
Freshford Village Memorial Hall is available for general hire and is used for a wide range of social and leisure activities, including parties, wedding receptions, dinners, fund-raisers, brownie, guide and scout camps, children's parties, theatrical productions and music concerts. It can also be hired on a weekly basis for activities such as badminton, pilates, yoga, dance, zumba, martial arts, talks and lectures, exhibitions, youth and child events, and as a meeting place for clubs and societies.
If you are interested in hiring the hall, please refer to booking calendar below to see when the hall is free. To make a booking, please use our online booking form.
