In partnership with the annual Shepton Snowdrops Festival, the Palace’s Head Gardener, James Cross, will also lead a Winter Interest Walk and Talk on Thursday, 15 February 2024, sharing his horticultural knowledge and expertise. Amanda Hirst will also discuss James Allen, known locally as The Snowdrop King and the first person to breed new varieties from wild snowdrops.

So, head over to Wells this February to celebrate the beginning of Spring at The Bishop’s Palace and enjoy these beautiful flowers in a stunning setting.
